Privacy Policy

Account details: your email address, first name and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider).

Profile content: your bio, interests, photos, and your pet's name, species, breed, age, size, personality and activities.

Location: the city or approximate area you choose. Coordinates are rounded before they are stored, so other owners only ever see an approximate distance — never your address.

Activity: likes, matches, messages, playdates, event RSVPs, group memberships, ratings, reports and invites.

To run the core service: showing compatible pets nearby, creating matches, delivering messages and notifications, and hosting local meetups and groups.

To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, enforcing blocks, and removing accounts that break the rules.

To improve Waggle: understanding which features are used, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Public to signed-in owners: your first name, photo, bio, interests, city, approximate distance and your pet's profile.

Private: your email address, password, exact coordinates, private messages, blocks and reports.

You can edit or remove your bio, interests, photos and pet details at any time from your Profile.

You can permanently delete your account and its content from Profile → Delete my account. Deletion removes your profile, pet, matches, messages and activity. Some records may remain briefly in encrypted backups before they expire.

You can block or report any owner from a chat or profile.

We use third-party providers to host the app, store data and send email. They process data on our behalf under their own security terms.

Waggle is intended for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we remove it.
